Community

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

(Heb 10:24-25 RSV)

Congregation sharing sign of peace with on another. At St. Edward’s, we strive to be a community, not just a group of people who come together Sunday morning to say some words, sing some hymns, drink coffee, and go about our individual lives until the next Sunday. We come together to support one another in our individual spiritual journeys. We recognize and celebrate the unique gifts each person offers and set aside our differences to break bread together. We draw strength and courage from each other to share God’s pure, unconditional love, both within the church and out in our local and global community.
