In the second chapter of the Acts of the Apostles, it says, “Day by day, as [the apostles] spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous harts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved” (Acts 2:46-47). We inherit both the privileges and responsibilities of those ancient times: the privilege to spend time together with our parish family, growing the sense of community among members of our church; and the responsibility to welcome all those who enter the doors of St. Edward’s. Everyone has a place and everyone has a part when we break bread together.
This group praises God through their work on our grounds. Members plant flowers and trees, keep weeds at bay, and maintain proper watering for our greenery.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
This group counts all women in the parishes and missions of the Episcopal Church as members. The purpose of ECW is to empower one another to live the life to which Christ has called us, sharing God’s love through outreach, fellowship, and spiritual growth. St. Edward’s ECW does a variety of things throughout the year from book clubs to volunteering in the community to fundraising for special ministries.

This ministry provides refreshments for special Sundays, musical concerts, and/ or other special events. There is a sign-up sheet for helping provide refreshments for Sunday morning coffee hour.
St. Edward’s annual Plant Sale is known near and far in the community and happens in early May. Part fundraiser, part outreach, the Plant Sale is something everyone looks forward to and can be part of.
