We are building a quiet outdoor space, open to the entire community, where anyone who has lost a beloved pet can come to sit, remember, and grieve.
The bridge and garden is on the grounds of St. Edward’s, but it belongs to everyone. You don’t need to be a member. You don’t need to be religious. You just need to have loved an animal and lost one.
A footbridge, hand built by a Parishioner of St. Edward’s to be the Rainbow Bridge, plantings, benches, places for memorial markers and mementos will all be components of the finished product.

Support the Garden Work
The bridge was the first step. A local Eagle Scout candidate contributed a service path for those who cannot walk across the bridge, and the path from the church to the pet memorial garden needed to be renewed. Consider making a gift to help us create and maintain this community resource.
Your tax deductible gift will help us:
- Build the path to the bridge and memorial garden
- Add perennial plantings chosen to bloom across Minnesota’s seasons
- Install benches and quiet seating areas for reflection
- Create memorial markers and a place to leave tokens of remembrance
